While north Cyprus seems like the ideal vacation for couples, due to it having such a romantic setting it is
still considered a perfect vacation spot for the whole family to enjoy.
Kids and adults equally like the beach. Spending time lying, bathing, playing under the warm welcoming sun
is always a pleasure.
The clear inviting water is also an all family feature. Swimming and engaging in water sports is also a
treat and if the children are old enough it is also a possibility.
Not all water related activities in north Cyprus are on the beach. There are many water parks equipped with
pools and water slides. Agia napa water park, is an impressive water park with a Greek mythology-based
theme and it supplies fun for the whole family, but it is not the only one in north Cyprus.
You can have your choice of water parks in north Cyprus, whether it is the Protaras Waterpark in Paralimni,
the Water World Water park in Agia Napa, the Fasouri Water Mania Water park in Lemesos or the Aphrodite
Water park in Pafos – all these provide water activities for you all to enjoy.
Other than the beach, which may seem like the obvious choice there is much more to see and do in North
Cyprus for the whole family to enjoy.
Northern Cyprus is rich with historical and ancient sites that the whole family can visit.
This is a great opportunity to get the children involved in learning activities as well as their usual
holiday fun. Examples for such sites are the ancient city that was found in excavations named Kition,
or Pafos which is an underground burial site.
Last but not least, let us not forget the natural aspect of North Cyprus. The island is filled with
beautiful animals, some roaming wild in certain areas for tourists to see and some may be observed
in special parks and forests. You can spend a day at the Camel Park in Mazotos village, learning
everything about camels and get to ride them. There are also an ostrich farms, a donkey sanctuary,
a bird and animal park with giraffes, flamingos and many more and bird watching parks.
All you have to do is choose what interests you more.
