shoes and comfortable cloths to hike in is a good idea to take with you. Also, some of the activities on the island
may be booked in advance and in high season may be a good idea in order to avoid wasting time waiting in line for tickets.
Water sports – since the beach is northern Cyprus main attraction it holds a lot of water activities in store for its visitors.
Diving in north Cyprus, for instance, is most recommended. The water is warm, clear and clean and there is a vast population of underwater life to see.
Festivals – there are local customs and festivals in north Cyprus and it is always nice to join the local atmosphere and see
what life is like for people who live there. The people of north Cyprus have folk dancing as a part of many occasions such as
weddings. Also there is a drama and music festival on the island once a year and it is a real treat.
Getting places – though the island is small it is a great idea to rent a car. This way you can get to the
furthest parts of the island really fast and see everything there is to see. Also it is really easy to get
around the island with only a road map so for those who like site seeing this is a great opportunity.
